01 Feb Mom of the year!
Often times Cochlear implants can be difficult to wear at any age. Sometimes it requires the individual to have hearing aids, which may look a bit unpleasing.
Sarah Ivermee, a mom to a beautiful 4-year-old boy Freddie, discovered a new way to turn hearing aids into little cool action heroes so that her son can feel cool when he goes to school.

Sarah decorated her son’s hearing aids with all sorts of super heroes and Disney characters. It worked really well because little Freddie has drawn a lot of attention from his peers and schoolmates… for all the right reasons!
When Sarah was asked about her invention, she said “I thought there would be a lot of families struggling with children who don’t want to wear their hearing devices and I felt I had to help.”
Sarah has since opened up a company called Lugs. She sends her designs to people around the world who are in need of her wonderful piece of service, just like her precious son Freddie!
