31 Jan Final paper due tomorrow? Don’t panic, we’ve got you covered!
If you’re exhausted, take a coffee power nap before you get started.
Head to the nearest 24-hour library with your books and any other materials you’ll need to get this paper done. Take water and some apples or snacks with you too.
Find yourself a big table or another good (silent!) spot where you can spread out all your books, notes and printouts.
If you can keep your focus at home, then set up shop at your desk.
Block distracting websites. Facebook, Twitter, cat videos on Youtube and whatever else you’re into will still be there when your assignment is finished. Self Control, Anti-Social and Cold Turkey are our fave apps.
Check your class specs: What’s the extension policy? Is there an after-hours dropbox? How many points will you lose per late day? Knowing how tight your Prof’s deadline expectations are will help keep you motivated.
Start with the details – formatting, citations, references etc. – they’re easy points to lose and you won’t give a sh*t about margins at 5 AM.
Resist the urge to cheat! You haven’t really gotten the work done if it’s not your work, and the last thing you want on your record is an accusation of plagiarism.
Finally, don’t give up! Remind yourself that any grade is better than a zero!
